Opportunities

Every morning, every new day we have another opportunity to deliberately bring light and hope and expectation into the life of someone out there.  

We actually have that power.  The power to step outside of ourselves and think about and act on behalf of another. 

That someone that we select may be a family, a neighbor, a friend or a stranger.  Giving of our time and attention is valuable. 

Yes, we all know the saying about how
"Life isn't  a bowl of cherries" but the truth is it doesn't have to be. 

We can find happiness and joy, or better yet happiness and joy can find us in unexpected places. It is as natural as fruit planted in the proper environment.  

I believe that we have something to do with the outcome as long as we are the ones who plant the seeds.

How we look at the world, what we focus on, the view that we have all makes a tremendous difference.  When we have hope we can move beyond what we see to what can be.

We can most definitely  be a part of the solution in any given circumstance.  We have that power.  We have sharp minds.  We have faith and works and nothing is impossible.
